How to Check Tractor Alternator Application Details Before Ordering
Alternator selection depends on more than the headline model name.
For an alternator inquiry, send the OEM reference first, then compare the old alternator shape, mounting ear layout, pulley style, voltage label when visible, connector shape, and belt alignment.
Production year and serial number can matter because the same equipment model may have electrical-system changes. Photos from the front, rear, side, connector, and label help the sourcing team check the reference before quotation.
Reference Table
| Mounting ears | Photo and measure spacing between mounting holes. |
|---|---|
| Pulley | Show belt groove type and pulley position. |
| Connector | Photograph plug shape, terminal count, and rear cover. |
