How to Measure an Agricultural Hydraulic Cylinder for Replacement
Hydraulic cylinder review needs the OEM number, end fittings, closed length, stroke, bore clues, rod diameter, and port details.
For a hydraulic cylinder, the OEM number is the best starting point. When it is missing or unreadable, measurement photos become essential because cylinders can vary by stroke, rod diameter, end fitting, port position, and mounting width.
Measure with the cylinder safely removed or accessible, and avoid guessing dimensions from a photo. Serial number and attachment configuration can matter on agricultural machines with optional loaders or implements.
